I made a short piece to explain to my students how to build up a piece from a short riff and extend the piece by repetition. Here's the result:

STOMP!!

GPO piano, flute, clarinet, trumpet (agg and muted). The rest is from G-Town. I love that foot-stomping sound!

Not only a fine teaching lesson, but a good piece, too, Jon.

I like the relatively sparse texture and "economy of means" of this quite a lot -- works really, really well, just kicking it along with the percussion. Very effective!

I think I've said before your students are lucky to have you.

Well, this is a pleasant suprise! Not JaBB but GPO and it sounds GREAT!

The percussion is what ties this piece together and the section was awesome.

I like the riffs and thei expansions...hints of Pink Panther floating in there!
