This song was written by Stas Venglevski, a Russian accordianist who wrote this in memory of Joe while at the accordion gathering on Blakely Island.John Bonica did the arranging and played accordion.

Joe Petosa was a leader in the accordion industry. Joe comes from a family of legendary makers that spans several generation. We posted about Joe last summer in this thread. http://www.northernsounds.com/forum/...ad.php?t=35410

Thanks John for sharing this with us.

John, a truly lovely and moving tribute.

I'm sure Joe Petosa would be deeply pleased and touched by this fine rendition.

Thank you for it, I enjoyed hearing this a great deal.

I haven't heard accordian music like this in a very, very long time. It is very expressive in its presentation! WOW.... Thanks so much for this wonderful tribute!

I've always had a soft spot for the accordian, an instrument thats capable of a great deal of expression. This piece proves just that. Very moving. Thanks for posting this.
