    "Ritratto In Azzurro"

    Music Lovers,

This was quite a compositional undertaking!

Here is my "Ritratto In Azzurro" ("Portrait In Blue"). All instruments (Steinway piano, flute, strings, tuba and tubular bells) are GPO. I like the crisp sound of the Steinway. Do you?

(Who am I trying to impress? I used the BabelFish internet language translator to help me with the title.)

And all this time I thought you were a polyglot, Larry...

Great choice of instrumentation on this. (As you will recall, I am a great lover of both tuba and bells.)

A *very* strong piece; excellent piano writing -- I thoroughly enjoyed this one!

You're really hitting some home runs, lately, Larry!

    My best,

Hey Larry, nice work... You have such a playful grace about your music. In this piece I extremely enjoyed the part @ 1:00 or so when the bells enter and the piece becomes slightly "darker" in color. Reminds my of Elfman just a bit at that part. I really liked the interaction between the two personalities... This is definitely on of my favorites

Another great one, LGA! I love the sound of the piano under your command. Wonderful! Nice use of tubular bells!

I bet your a happy person and your music reflects it. Nice work.

A recent PEW survey shows that Republicans are significantly happier than liberals even when they are not in power.
