"Harpsichord Sonata #03 - First Movement (excerpt)

Edit: This was not bumped by LGA.

    MusicMakers,

Below is a short excerpt from the first movement of my Harpsichord Sonata Number Three in Bb.

    This is the GPO harpsichord.

    Larry,

One thing that always blows my mind about your work...sheer kinetic energy. Your music always seems to uplift and wake me up. A big part of that is the 2nd cup of coffee this morning. Seriously, when I write, it always seems to sound minor to me, while your music seems happy, alive, and ready to kick my butt. Anyway, I had to comment. I wish that could play keys like you and David, but, alas, I am a guitar player... I will be learning piano at college, this fall...so look out!!!

    I always enjoy your work,
    Paul

Thank you, Mr. Paul. It's kind of you to listen to an old fahrte's music and say nice things about it.

By the way, my keyboard ability sucks big-time.

"an old fahrte's music" ...fahrte? Bitte? An old driver? LOL Es ist richtig, deiner Musik ist sehr shoen. Ich lerne dein Umlaut aktual, Ja?

LOL This is the most German I have used in...15 years. Since I lived there. Scooping ice cream on an air force base to see Europe. AAAhhh sweet memories. It is funny...I have seen so much more of the world than the kids I will be attending college with this fall. Anyway, back on topic, your music rocks...in a classical sense, of course!

    Keep on writin'

OOh yeah, Larry, would you mind telling me what you think of this 1 min film score clip I did...http://www.northernsounds.com/forum/...ad.php?t=43095

It certainly does not have your lively spirit, but does it capture the vibe?

    Thanks,
    Paul
