    Re: Happy Birthday Houston!

Thanks, everyone. I'm celebrating the day by taking a "floating holiday" from work (one day that you can take any time of the year, as long as it's approved by management - most folks take it on their birthday) and will be working on a demo for Arturia's new "ProphetV" synth emulation. It's a spec film cue that also uses Garritan's Personal Orchestra and ArtVista's Virtual Grand Piano - along with a few tidbits from USB's X-treme FX (if I can get them to fit the cue).

I'm also having lunch today with a guy that does sound design for a lot A-list films, as well as a bunch of anime and games - so it will be interesting to see if this day is a marker for a new beginning beyond my promise to myself not to spend so much time in front of a computer...

OK - time to make some coffee and watch the sunrise. Thanks again everyone - and have a good one.
