    Some of my Harpsi. comps.

    Harpsi. Lovers,

For your possible enjoyment, here are some of my harpsichord works:

    "Waltzette"

    "Romp In C"

    "Noodlin'"

    "Musings"

    "Gypsy Dance"

You will hear the GPO instrument.

    My best to everyone,

Huh? The links don't work for me ... oh now they do phew.

    Waltzette:

Light and bouncy and nice chromatic effect, humorous and cheerful.

    Romp:

OOo Ooo I remember this one! I love the dancing rythms.

    Noodlin:

    Cool counterpoint

    Musings:

Oooo some nice dark-ish themes in there strong beats in the lower ranges, cool waltzy qualities and wonderful counter point and theme.

    Gypsy Dance:
Hehe you read my mind, I love Harmonic minor, powerful minor themes in this one and efficient usage of the timpani, the harpsichord has a nice effect, how did you do that?
Ke Yang (OMG I'm using mah name)

Thank you for the individual reviews, Colonel.

"Musings" contains a strong 4/4 beat throughout. I'm curious as to how you get a "waltzy" (3/4) feeling.

Nice job on all of these, Larry.

I particularly liked the Gypsy Dance -- fine piece! The Waltzette also caught my fancy.

Er.... My brain don't function that way? It contains weird algorithms that makes everything seem 3/4

I listened through my stereo as I did chores (my busy season is upon me) and they all sounded good to me. I did enjoy!

It's nice to have some sparkly background to the rain coming down outside the window. And so many moods, from a tyrannical downpour to a lilting spring shower. I like the sudden tonality changes in the Romp in C. Larry, it's always a pleasure to hear your music.
