Help - JABB Kontakt Player Has a mind of it's own!
Just starting to work with JABB and loving it, but I have one annoying problem. Whenever I play a track the virtual volume knob in the kontakt player window jumps to 12 db! (and the volume DOES actually change!) This will happen even if there is no data at all in the track that is being played, or even in a brand new file!
Has anyone seen this problem? or does anyone know what cc I can send to "lock" the kontakt volume (cc7 doesn't do it)?
(DP 4.1.2 on a G4 1.5 MacMini - EMU Xboard49 controller)
Re: Help - JABB Kontakt Player Has a mind of it's own!
Go to the player's Options menu and check to see if the "Use Std. cc#7/cc#10 volume and pan" is activated (green.) Click on it to de-activate if it is. That should solve your problem. If you do want standard cc#7 control then you will be required to make sure that your sequencer is not sending any default or reset values to your tracks and you will need to actually place cc#7 data in each of your tracks. De-activating the option is much easier.
