    My first GPO piece

    Hey everyone,

This is my first GPO piece that I made for the mumsky for her Birthday, Everything is GPO. I'm just a student hobbyist that loves to compose, and Gpo is outstanding. It's a softer piece, let me know what you think and any suggestions are more than welcome.

    Very nice! Impressive!

Too much cymbal! Too much cymbal! Did I mention too much cymbal?

You seem to have a pretty good command of orchestration. Keep up the good work.

    Great work, Matt!

The bright melody and mood reminded me of Goldsmith.

This is a terrific arrangement, and very well rendered!

Great work. This an excellent piece and an awesome start with GPO. You should be proud of your results because they are truly outstanding.

I thought the piano was a little loud, but that's only my opinion.

    Welcome aboard, Matt.

This is excellent work! Beautiful writing, fine rendering, a well balanced and interesting composition, and first-rate handling of the orchestra.

A real pleasure, Matt -- and a top-drawer introduction of your work to the forum.

Hi Matt, I have to agree with Larry about too many cymbal crashes.
When I think of my Mom, I think of a very gentle loving mother.
Cymbal crashes are huge and majestic, just the opposite a dainty, lovely Mommy.

Great job for your first GPO piece!

Beautiful sound. The reverb is excellent, makes it sound so dreamy. Great job!
