    Sky-an experiment to combine JABB/GPO/Synths

I have tried to combine JABB, GPO and other synth sounds into one project.

This is my first attempt and I would appreciate any comments on the tune.

Well done! Beautifully and tastefully blended, Jun... a perfect mixture of sampled tradional insrtuments and synthetics.

If you would like to consider this an "experiment", I would say that it has been a highly successful one!

Musically, this is also quite lovely. I listened with much pleasure, Jun, thank you for it. I hope you will do more along this line, it is a deliciously fruitful avenue!

    All my best,

    Jun,

    Your work always amazes me.

An excellent composition and very well arranged with the various sound elements. Intriguing synthetic sounds.

A superb job in mixing electronica with sampled acoustic instruments.
Well done! Beautifully and tastefully blended

I enjoyed listening to " Sky" which is appropriately named.

    Thanks for sharing your music.

    David,

Thank you very much for taking your time to listen to the music and giving such an encouraging comment.

I like the piano sequence but was not sure the implementation with other sound elements were right. I am very much pleased to hear you thought it was successful.

Some people says the drums part (especially closed hi-hat) is unnatural (too even). I am now considering whether I will replace it with more synthetic drums or give some nuance to hi-hat with JABB.

    Gary,

Thank you very much for your warm comment. Actually blending GPO, JABB and other synths is a real challenge but most interesting.

I was wondering whether this is a proper name for the tune but now I decided to go with "Sky" ;-)

Thank you very much again for the splendid sample libraries!

Jun, I like the soundworld created by this blend.
The flute and clarinet parts help to breathe more Soul into, the electronic textures.

    Very skillfully done.

intet: Thank you for your comment.

Joe: I feel the same way. Blending electronic and acoustic gives some depth to the tune.
