No...but I'm sure I'll hear about it soon from my kid. How is it?

My youngest son is behind in his geometry homework. He doesn't want to do it. He can't find the self-motivation.

...So we bought him the new Tool CD. It's still in it's wrapper. After my son finishes two chapters worth of homework, he gets to unwrap it. (Another chapter and we might let him play it. )

We'll see if our strategy works...

Interestingly enough, that CD comes with some pretty cool geometric artwork, complete with magnifying glasses! Good choice!

Tracks #4 and #1 are my favorites so far.

I got to listen to it yesterday passively with a friend.

My opinion is that it's a good interesting album, but HOLY SH!T is the guitar waaaay too load in the mix!!!

It's almost tough to listen to.

When Lateralus came out I thought it was a step down from my fave Aenima, but it grew on me and is now right up there on my list, so we'll see how this one pans out after a few listens.

I like the new album a lot, but I can honestly say that it's not going to be at the very top of my favorites for Tool albums. I'm not too fond of the "filler" stuff though on a couple tracks. Still love the album though.
