Does anyone know of a PCI card that will take USB dongles inside the computer, instead of hanging off the outside?
1,2 or 4 port?
Alex, I wouldn't advise this, no matter how it might look like a safer option. If you need to remove the dongle it is a real pain. Why would you need to remove it? Well I wouldn't install updates with it inserted, nor would I install a "rival" dongle with the first one inserted!! As to your question, I can't help you there, but I know of some Nuendoeons who have done this, so you could ask there as well.
Those cards are very easy to find Alex, i bought 2 and both had one inside and i didn't even ask for it. I think it's a good idea to put your dongle inside, if you have quick access to your PC's side pannel you'll be able to remove your dongle in no time. But if your Pc(like me) is in a isolation box then it will be a pain...
