I am very pleased to announce that Sean Hannifin is interning with us this summer.
"Sean Hannifin hails from Fredericksburg Virginia. His keen interest in computers, chess and playwriting during his formative years have morphed into passions in music, theatre, and, of course, computers during his college years. His discovery of Garritan Personal Orchestra enabled him to learn orchestration and composition ideas despite having no formal music education. He slowly started learning to play the violin, clarinet, and the computer-connected keyboard. He continues to learn the craft and has been a great fan and supporter of the GPO movement. He thinks it will bring great music to many who would not have previously had access.
During his spare time, Sean is a full time student at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. He is majoring in Computer Science, but stays awake by having a minor in theatre. He also works at the school library reluctantly... because he would rather be composing! "
Sean has done a great deal of work on the Rimsky-Korsakov course. He will be doing web work, tutorials, programming, fashion design and some fun stuff for us this summer. Sean will also be learning some of the wizard's secrets and he is very excited to be interning with us this summer!
It is going to be great having Sean intern with us and we're looking forward to him being a valuable member of our team.
