    $100!! This will make computing even more ubiquitous. Now if they can just come pre-installed with music apps

    Interesting. This is actually a very laudable idea, IMO. If they get it off the ground and some governments order it will be interesting to see how many recipients use it as a learning tool and how many quickly convert it to cold hard cash... (a line in their FAQ is interesting- something to the effect that in many places it could be popular because it will be crank operated and the LCD display would be the brightest source of light in the home...)

    Unfortunately, as I remember they are going to have just a 500 MB flash hard drive.
