BRAVO
Wonderful. I absolutely adored it.!!
If I could only use one word to define the Sosnowski style it would be ....
Clarity.
Here we have passages which are occasionally dense and murky, and yet the feeling of clarity persists. I now realise that what I have been picking up on, is clarity of thought, rather than clarity of texture.
The usual Sosnowski hallmarks are there ;scintillating woodwind writing, fascinating piano work that effortlessly pulls focus from ensemble instrument to fully-fledged soloist. What seems new to me is the extra weight given to the strings.
I love this widening of your string writing. It adds a lot of passion and depth to the mix.(Superb job on the rendering of them bye the way). The trumpet writing is quite breathtaking at times. It seems to teeter on the edge of hysteria, exuberant and ebullient. Dizzie Gillespie compared to your Milesian treatments of the past.I also loved your rather heroic French Horn writing.
You offer many different views of light here. From a veiled unfolding to an adamantine brilliance. This is light that is in love with its shadow, and shines all the brighter because of this.
You see David, I take my role as the official Sosnowski interpreter seriously.

.
Many congratulations on a superb achievement.
regards Joe
