Question about Auditioning Notes in SONAR

I am using SONAR 5.0 in a Win XP machine (Pen4/2.2GHz/2GB RAM) with GPO as a VST plug-in.

Jumped from SONAR 2.0 XL to 5.0, the program works mostly fine but I have one small nuissance.

Why the volume is too soft in auditing notes with GPO in SONAR piano roll view?

If I set volume and CC1 as the volume of sound is right for a certain part, say flute, when it plays in "playback", the sound I hear as entering notes in SONAR piano roll view (or auditing notes) is too low (small). I cannot hear properly the auditioned notes. I consulted with SONAR's "help" but it did not help.

    Any hints or suggestions?

    Try this:

Options > Project > MIDI Out

Then uncheck "Zero Controllers When Play Stops"

It solved the problem. Now auditioning sounds right.

    Thank you very much!
