Topic: Note On:SNAP. Note Sustain:silence. Note off:SNAP.

    Note On:SNAP. Note Sustain:silence. Note off:SNAP.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

Started with an orchestral file: 2 16-channel Kontakt 2.1 instances. Sometimes it would play a Finale file normally for some measures, then cut out with a loud snap, then come back in with another snap. (No scrolling, no ambient reverb, no other programs open.)

Sometimes improved with a multi reload. Sometimes improved with all instruments' sources changed to "sampler." (Some instruments default to DFD, but I thought Finale didn't like DFD. Am I wrong about that?)

Now the same thing happens all the time with a brand new multi with only one insrument, using either the Mac audio outputs or the Digi 002.

The same multis work fine in Digtital Performer.

    Am I missing something obvious?

    Thanks for any suggestions!

It seems that it may be a setup issue with the Finale outputs. Give me a call or an email and we'll troubleshoot it.
