I wrote "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Bed" this morning. It is a short, all-pizz., all-GPO composition.
Cute piece, nice use of the pizz. strings to get the point across.
Thank you, Gary. It appears that you are in a group of ONE who liked it.Originally Posted by GaryBric

I understand. Gary G posted some of my compositions and arrangements recently. I haven't a lot of comments, although they are very positive when made. But the visit counts are pretty encouraging. Hopefully those numbers are uplifting at least. If you haven't, stop by and have a listen to mine.Originally Posted by Larry G. Alexander
My tuba professor friend did stop by to hear the tuba solo and was very impressed. He put it this way, "Just shows that there is a lot of good writing happening."
As always, your writing is upbeat and infectious (not in the cough up a lung variety of infectious...the good kind). I had said in the past that I would try to mimic your happy-sounding style...alas, I am a failure in that respect. No matter what I write, in any key, it sounds minor to me. LOL Suffice to say, your music never ceases to amaze me...and if others will not comment, then... Many words come to mind, but my Mom would would wash out my mouth just for thinking them.
Anyway...I like your work, and whenever I have access to the web I make a point to check out your latest. I'm never disapointed...you always have some new work posted. Keep writing...and I'll keep listening.

That's very nice, Mr. Paul and encouraging too. Thanks very much.
Hi Larry -
Haven't been around in a while. Just haven't had the time to spend on the internet, lately.
Well. . . I have some time tonight! (I'm at work and my one and only patient is safely sleeping as his heart keeps on a-beatin'! LOL!)
This is my first composition that I listened to tonight. What to know why?? The title grabbed me! As always, your titles provide a muchly needed "kick and a giggle". (I used to be a keyboardist for a lounge trio many, many moons ago. We used to play "Rain Drops Keep Falling on My Head" way too many times! LOL!)
This is a pleasant and charming composition, Larry. As always, nicely done!
Music and humor are healthy for the soul.
I am glad that I provided a "kick and a giggle", Theodore. That's what life is all about.
Has your nursing profession been rewarding? I hope that I have someone as kind and compassionate as you to take care of me when I get old.
Thanks for taking time to listen.
