Yeah, Spectradudes -- for crying out loud! A man's gotta get his Spectrafix at least every few months, geez! At least gimme a dang t-shirt or something to tide me over until the next Spectratastic release...

(no, SERIOUSLY -- at least give us a HINT of something)

he did give us a hint in another thread on this same forum.
We were to think SeaMonkey....... that's why I am hoping a workstation, based more on mozilla seamonkey, than the seamonkey pet.

Yeah... I'm dying here! No new news/products in soooo long. Not that we have any legitimate cause for complaint, and I don't exactly have extra money burning a hole in my pocket, but I seriously can't wait for the next big item from Eric & Co. Spectrasonics plugs are literally ALL I use in my projects and I am really craving some new tools. No one in the market comes even remotely close IMO. Sample libraries kick the crap out of "softsynths," and it seems like most library plugs aren't very contemporary compared to the stuff that Spectrasonics is doing.

    As I've also posted here:

    http://northernsounds.com/forum/show...t=45039&page=2

    - my bet is that they'll be coming out with a plugin which allows their entire non-drumming back catalogue to be imported and played back.

To follow the seamonkey-analogy, the seamonkies could in this context refer to their old sample libraries and the new VST-plugin plugin = water, which could bring these "dried-up" libraries back to life. Perhaps a bit far-fetched, but heck, we'll see how it pans out
