    Best free newsreader?

I'm speaking of a reader for usenet groups rather than RSS feeds...

I see that Opera has a built in reader, just wondering if there was anything better on the free scene, or if there's a clear consensus on what the leading apps are for this use.

I use Thunderbird, from Mozilla, I used to use FreeAgent. Both will do the trick, and each has a couple of features that the other one doesn't.

I settled on Thunderbird because it puts all my mail, usenet newsgroups, and even RSS feeds into one place, which I do find handy.

PS- while I find it far behind in terms of features, I believe Outlook Express still handles news feeds.

Chris, I've used XNews (http://xnews.newsguy.com/) for several years. It's quite robust.
