    Mid-East perc. MIDI patterns

    Hi
I'm trying to find MIDI patterns for Middle-eastern percussion...
Anyone know where I might find this?
    Thanks

What are you triggering? I'm not aware of a GM bank containing Middle eastern percussion, but that doesn't mean it's not out there.
If you want instant results Wizoos Darbuka is tailor made although it'll cost you more than the price of a few midi-files.

Darbuka is really great in sound and function, but no extractable midi files, so not quite the control of RMX for example. But besides the somewhat lacking component of complete control, everything else about it is phenomenal. Plus you could recycle some Darbuka audio, which would give you RMX flexiblity, as well as some nice homemade Mideast Midi files. But given there is no GM standard for mideast percussion it would take some definite work to do something cool there. Probably well worth it though.
