Do You Have Music For Sale? Tell Us About It Here!

There has been some really great music posted here. I was listening to many demos and think "I really like this and would like to hear more of this person's work". I'm sure others too would like to know how to order CDs from members.

If you are offering a CD or downloads of your music (i.e. iTunes), let's post the info here.

Please include your name, the URL and the price and ordering information.

So if you got your music for sale, leet us know! And forum members, if you hear something you like...support it!!

well, it's not for sale and quite old (about an year), and it was already posted here... but maybe someone would enjoy the (free) listening... ;-)

“ICARO” is the title of my summer 2005 mini-album. I recorder it during years 2004-2005, but i finalised it (and all its definitive recording) in august 2005.
The main instrument that play in all these songs is my flute: it appears in every piece, along with a lot of other instrments, in personal arrangements of some classical pieces.
The tracklist is the following, and you can download every song in mp3 format (128 kpbs), along with the CD cover and the stick to apply on the CD itself, if you like it.

01 – A.Dvorak – Quattro pezzi romantici (four romantic pieces)
    02 - M.Ravel – Bolero
03 - R.A. Winkelmann - Sonata per flauto e piano (Sonata for flute and piano)
04 - J.S. Bach Aria sulla quarta corda (air on the fourth string)
    05 - J. Pachelbel - Canone in re maggiore (Kanon in D)
    06 - A. Vivaldi – L'inverno (the winter)

    BONUS TRACK (May 2006)
J.S. Bach - Jesus Bleibet Meine Freunde

All the pieces are arranged and played exclusively by me. In the album you will listen to: a sitar, a tin whistle, acustic and electric guitar, a tibetan bell, a rainstick, shakers and percussions, some synths sounds (from my Yamaha TG 77 and Korg 01RW), orchestral sounds from the library Garritan Personal Orchestral.

    I have stuff for sale!

My CD "Spring and Fall" is available at CDBaby, my download page, and at iTunes!

A new CD is in the works, too. We've just had our second recording session for a CD of Christmas music which (hopefully) will be done in plenty of time for Christmas. I'll be putting the songs on my download page, too, as they're completed.

Visit my website for previews of all the tracks on "Spring and Fall," and links to some other CDs that have my music on them.

I've also got some printed music for sale, but I don't have much about that up yet. I'm hoping to have it all updated by the end of the summer.

    Rampant commercialism! Yay!

I was thinking a bit about putting out a CD of some of the
    orchestral works on www.DavidSosnowski.com

    Limited production, home-brew. Archival LightScribe
laser-etch graphic labeling, though, and good, quality CD-R's.

Would anyone be interested in such a thing?

In my case, given that all the music is already available
free on the site, and anyone can burn a CD-R, it seems
a little odd anyone'd pay me for a CD of it... lol.

    Best,

Several of us have recordings on the ERM Media "Masterworks of the New Era." Soon, Dan Powers will be joining that club!

My "Nightwinds" is on Vol 8 along with a wonderful piece by Andy Brick. Ernstein is on a previous volume....2 or 3 I think

What a deal! Buy two CDs and get 3 GPO composers!!

All ERM CDs are available at Amazon.com, CD Baby and direct from ERMMedia (www.numusic.org)

    .
Sure! Hopefully you are recording in better than MP3 quality, and people who want to hear that on CD, with the liner notes, could very well buy one. Since it's all on the web, people can't say the don't know what they're buying!

    Dan,

I just listened to your Spring & Fall CD just a couple weeks ago. This is definitely a different side of your music from the orchestral works of yours. My favorites are the first and last pieces on the CD.

Thanks so much, Jim. Those are my favorites, too, and I'd include some of the songs as well.

(I've had the idea that the clarinet trio might make an interesting orchestra piece, but who knows when I'll have time to do it?)

I hate to jump into this thread with a slightly off topic question but... Could someone tell me how you get your music on iTunes? Do you have to go through a 3rd party or will Apple let you create an account an upload your own recordings?

I'd love to try and sell some of my music but I don't have the resources to distribute. (well and for that matter I don't have any music recorded yet but I'm almost there hehe)
