Just a quick piece I did. Just had to get this down on paper (or cylinders...depends on how you look at it).
Great start... lots of energy and potential. Will there be more than piano and percussion?

That is actually the entire piece in it's entirety. I can extend it though. It's originally an ending for song number two (alternate ending, the original ending I was planning for this year would be too tough on the students).
Sounds great. This sounds like it would be good for a TV drama. A timpani roll in there might sound good, possibly where the bass drum starts hitting each note.
I was actually going for a commercial style but now that I listen to it, it sounds like a drama a little bit...just too cheerful for the ones I watch (Monk, Psych, etc.).
Nice start, CJ -- full forward with a lot of energy.
(Maybe a little less reverb?)
CJ, to me, this sounds almost introductory. I could
easily hear this launching into a hot brass segment
or swooping melody right at ~1:01, etc.
Whatever the case, good stuff!
This quickie just begs for more! Nice work thus far, but more would be great, I feel like I was just at the beginning of something. It does sound like it would be great for a TV drama, but, yes, a bit too cheerful for those mystery comedy series.
By the way, Monk is great, but Psych tries too hard.
