All of y'all,
I wrote an orchestration for strings based on my original piano composition, "Patterns".
Here is "Patterns Two". All of the instruments are GPO.
Regards to everyone,
Nice job on this, Larry.
The original piano version would appear to have been
quite strong; and it is no surprise it adapts so well
to the strings... good bones, you know.
Thank you for listening, Mr. Dave, and thanks for your comments.Originally Posted by etLux

I enjoyed this tremendously! Nice, flowing triple meter feel with some pleasant surprises thrown in here and there. Some very satisfying listening to end my evening. Thanks for sharing this.
...or maybe I should just say "good bones"!
Thank you, fellow Texan Danny.Originally Posted by DDW

Very beautiful orchestration.
This work is very pleasant to listen.

As always, I am impressed! This is a good day on the forum! I have heard a number of amazing pieces today... and this is one of them! Larry, you are one amazing Texan... prolific and one heck of a writer! Your use of continuous motion is always something I try to mimic... and never suceed. It is not as simple as putting down a bunch of notes... there is an art... and Larry, you have it in spades!
