    GM, Ford & Mazda Go iPod

    Apple on Thursday announced partnerships with Ford, General Motors and Mazda to deliver seamless iPod integration to the majority of their brands and models.

    That's a clever move by Apple! This may lead to more portable-device-to-car hookups in the future, though for now I do not think it will affect the majority of car buyers.

    I don't think I could get the car in the
    house to download my tunes into it.

    Other than that, I guess it's a good
    idea...

    Perhaps Steve just assumes everyone has a computer in the garage...

    It might be more of a move by GM and Ford to offer younger buyers an attractive option hoping some of that coolness factor rubs of on them.

    ... or an iPod ... but at least it will encourage car buyers to have something to work for!

    Young people sell their cars and then when their home loan goes through they can buy two new cars.

    A young couple with two kids in my neighborhood did just that. He's in the navy and she works in a pizza parlor.


    Scary!

    As useless as a cigarette lighter in my car. I'm surprised Apple didn't push this on VW and BMW instead. Suits the mentality better if you ask me.
