    Gary,

Another cool one!! My one complaint... this is to short! I want more.

I do not think that I have heard a piece from you that had the entire orchestra in it. I would love to hear what you could do with that! Judging by what I've heard so far... it would be superb.

Waiting anxiously for the next tune...

    Thank you Paul,
I have orchestral works, but everytime I try to convert
to Garritan, various instruments play the wrong part, or don't sound. I have a really neać "GLASS" type piece, but I can[t get the score converted.
I start with a score from the setup loading the instruments, but
when I copy and paste, instruments wind up either missing or playing the wrong part.
I still can't figure why the string parts in an orchestral score would be using brass sounds.

    Gary,

That is bizarre. You would have to ask the more technical folks here. I did not write anything down for the longest time... I just played it. In the last year or so, I have begun writing things down! It has been real tricky to switch gears like this! LOL

In many ways, I am more of a newbie here than you are. LOL

Hopefully, you will figure out the problem. I'm chomping at the bit for one of your orchestral works!!

Delightful! -- And a great choice of ensemble for
    the material... rather the sense of a calliope, almost;
    very attractive piece!

Gary what are you converting from and to? I use Finale 2006 and assign my instrument names using the Instrument Sheet with a New Instrument name and channel number for each Stave. Then I assign each instrument to its respective channel using Midi/Native Instruments VST Setup.

There is more to explain but not until if I know you are using the same notation tool that I am.

What an interesting combination of flutes, Gary!

I imagine myself lying and eating grapes while watching some exotic belly dancing in Alexandria 2000 years ago.

The main theme is surely very distinct!

    I enjoyed listening to this!

    Re: Flute Antics

    Thanks for listening, Fred.
I haven't thought about this in awhile.
I submitted it to a college ensemble, but they decided they didn't have
time to work it up. It would have been far less painful if they didn't promise something they didn't intend to do.
