de Maleingreau Sonate 2 mvt 2

    Hello, fellow GPO-ers!

Some of you may remember I've been slowly working my way through the piano sonatas of Paul de Maleingreau.... I've posted #1 and #10 so far, as well as the first mvt of Sonate 2..

Well... I finally spent some time working on the 2nd mvt of sonata 2, and here it is:

if you want to hear it in context of the first movement, that file is still HERE

    Enjoy,

Nice to start my day with our resident musical archeologist dusting off some more gold! I've been looking forward to additional Paul de Maleingreau. Thanks for posting this.

it's so interesting how it blends from contrapuntal texture to chordal...
this composer obviously mastered his craft!

You definitely have my agreement on that, Jonathan.

The musical community owes you a debt for your efforts in
elevating this work and that of other little-known composers
    out of an undeserved obscurity.

Beautifully rendered, my friend; and a gorgeous piece!

I hope that I also LEAVE in obscurity some of that which deserves it LOL

I can hardly wait for the Garritan Steinway so I can REALLY do these justice!
