Before any of you wonder, I passed this by Gary and he said it was OK to post. I hate stepping on toes! He said this doesn't really compete with, but rather enhances, his products and the overall experience in using them. Not saying he is endorsing this, but he said it was OK to post.
RaySpace is a reverb plugin (not using covolution), that lets you build (or use presets) your own room space, add walls, etc. It also lets you control the location of the sound source in the room, and the location of the listener. It controls all of the reflective and absorbative nature of the walls and room you create / select. (As well as pretty much everything else imaginable) And it does it in realtime. It is pretty nice on CPU too.
I thought it was cool. I have only used Ambience and SonicWORX up to this point, so ANYTHING remotely like this is all new to me.
I know Garritan RealSpaces will blow this out of the water, as does Altiverb and other higher-end reverb/convolution plugins, but for the price, it is nice and can do a LOT.
Just a little OT info for all of you.
