I know that there are plenty of users who are migrating from the Mac PowerPC platform to the MacIntel platform and may even already have an Intel Mac they are trying to use K2 on. As most of us know, K2 is not yet Intel-ready and isn't scheduled to be until early October.

As a workaround, I've been suggesting that users who MUST run K2 on their MacIntel machines install Boot Camp (free) to install a Windows partition, then run K2 as a Windows application or plug-in.

This should work fine, except that I just found out there's a bug in Apple's Boot Camp which crippes SATA disk performance -- which would be horrible for K2's streaming. Someone has found and posted a workaround, though, so I figured K2 users would want to know about it:
