Line 6's Riffworks has a neat feature.
Whilst in loop recording, at the end of each loop, the audio is recorded on the *next channel*, whilst playing back the channels it has already recorded .... so its a bit like jamming yourself.

Great for improvising, and quickly laying down ideas very quickly (especially for guitarists)

Is there anything like this in Cubase or Tracktion ?
I know they have loop recording, but I only know that they will create either separate takes within a channel, or write over the existing the material recorded in the previous pass of the loop.
