Which budget large diaphram condenser mic for vocals? (£200)
Hi. I'm looking for a new large diaphram condenser to record a wide range of vocals. I already own a RODE NT1a and a Studio Projects B1 which are pretty good. Is there a mic within my £200 budget that would be an improvement? I've heard good things about the SE Electronics SE2200a and Audio Technica 4040SM. I also like the look of the RODE NT2a but it only scrapes into my budget but has no shockmount which costs another £60 (putting it out of my budget). What you you recommend (I have an SPL Goldmike preamp to use with it).
