    A Thought-filled Evening

    REVISION & ADDITION.
An evening of discussions. The discussion ebb and flow; express disagreements; everyone talks at the same time; here it becomes meaningful. The evening's over...

    An interesting, contemplative exercise, Gary.

    I enjoyed listening.

    Thanks David.
It's interesting to me that some exercises stimulate new ideas
and direction while others simply become full of trite passages.

It certainly flows nicely. One would not know (just listening and not analyzing) that this is in an odd meter. I like the intertwining of all three instruments. Each is definitely clear to hear . I'm a little dissappointed in the length. I would love to hear more . How about a couple of more movements based on the presented thematic material? I thank you for presenting this to us!

    Thanks Rich,
After my lesson today, I discovered that my writing in this time
signature wasn't reflected in the sound. My writing didn't establish
    a 1st (strong)beat.
I will do some more work on the theme and it may change
    time signatures more frequently.
