I thought I'd post in case anyone is in the DC/VA area or will be visiting either of these two weekends.
The Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic will be presenting the world premiere of my Unlikely Visions suite as part of its 2006 Composition Competition. The winner of the competition will be selected from among the three finalists at the end of their concert season, and will receive performances of three additional works over the next two seasons.
First Performance: Sunday October 15, 5:00pm at Bishop Ireton H.S., 201 Cambridge Road, Alexandria, Virginia
Second Performance: Sunday October 22, 5:00pm at The Church of the Epiphany, 1317 G St., NW Washington, DC
