"Eden ~Fly to the Sky of Heavens" by Aura Qualic

Aura Qualic, a composer from Japan, has just sent in his "Eden ~Fly to the Sky of Heavens"

    Here is the link:

This is a magical song. The intro is very sweeping and the string layers are very well done. Good use of the bells, timpani and the snare drum.

Thank you Aura for sharing your music with us. I am looking forward to hearing more of your music.

Many of the parts are very exposed and extremely well-rendered. Great mixing job, Aura. Spatially and regarding reverb, it is right where it needs to be.

The mood this piece puts me in is somewhat nostalgic and somewhat teary. It is a very "concluding" piece. There is a horn line midway through the piece where it diminuendos and trills...gorgeous. The flute solo immediately following it is also great--you've gotten superb tone out of it. I like how you've kept the flow of the piece using subdivision in the piano (also...what beautiful tone on it!) and harp.

The bass voices are present just enough to give you that warm feeling of presence.

The key changes and chimes make it sparkle.

To tell you the truth, I was expecting a slightly softer ending without a gong, or at least one played much softer. The ending seemed a little abrupt. However, in all, you have here one surely fine work compositionally and acoustically. Thank you for sharing it with us!

    Aura,

Thanks for sharing this excellent work with the members of the forum. The composition is very moving, rich and full of musical surprises. The orchestration does the work justice and the use of the GPO instruments makes the realization shine.

    Aura:

    Excellent rendition of your composition.
Great orchestration and use of modulatory passages.
Your use of percussion gives this piece "life."
While listening, I felt this would be a great score for film.

Welcome and please send more of your music.

Gary this composer has achieved what Nicolas Flamel is said to have achieved. This composer has used the alchemy of silence and turned it into golden tones of brilliant music. It moved me from one place to another. To a higher plane for personal achievement in my own efforts. T

Thank you Aura Qualic and thank you Sir G for sharing this.
