credit where credit is due (literally!)

As one who's often been quick to criticize TASCAM, I just wanted to take a moment and credit them for "doin' the right thing" on a major bone-head move by me!
I had read the original press release for GVI a few times and, like many of you Mac users, was (am) licking my chops waiting for the Mac-version GVI.
When I got the email from TASCAM it didn't register with me that it was *not* a Mac version that they were offering and I ordered it straight away.
Of course when it arrived, I saw a Windoze-only box, which I didn't open. I emailed TASCAM/TEAC cust. support and - sure enough - they gave me an RA# for a return and I've just received a full credit (less shiping).
So, as I said, my bone-head move, but they were great and professional about it and, in doing business that way, have solidified me as a customer!

    ((now......how about that Mac version??!?!!))

It's nice to read a positive story. So often people post about problems, but not about successes.

Hopefully the Mac version will be available soon. (Not that I need it. I'm a PC guy.)
