Sax Quartet Demo for new VSL VI Saxophones

Here are 2 short demos using the soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones from the new VSL VI Saxophone package.

Both pieces are from Alexader Glasunow's Saxophone Quartett op 109:

    Hi Jay,

Both demos sound excellent - the first demo, in particular, as it has more exposed moments for the various saxes. Great programming! Dynamics, articulation are all there.

Your efforts make this library shine!

    Regards,

    Jim

The saxes sound lovely Jay. !!

Very successful at the hard to capture forte-to-fortissimo range. Maybe just a tiny bit lacking in charater at the piano to pianissimo range.

Some very nice moments in the tenor part in the 1st piece.

    regards Joe

Thanks Jim-- that means a lot to me coming from a sax expert!

Thanks Joe-- I always look forward to your kind but honest comments.

Thanks Fabio-- I hope someone actually tries a "big band" number with VSL. That would be fun.

    Best,
    Jay
