    Congratulations to the two winners! That's the third time a tie has come up! (What the heck will we do with a three-way tie?) I suppose the three options are:

    1) One person declines to write a melody.
    2) One writes the initial melody and one writes a counter melody as in Challenge 6.
    3) Both write two different melodies that must be worked into the entry.

    As to the nature of the theme(s), it's of course up to the winners. Though it may be the case that easy-to-harmonize melodies attract more contestants.

    If Richard is willing to post the theme it's ok for me. (Actually, he won. It was a late vote wich made a tie). I'm looking forward to the next challenge
