The prices are definitely coming down into the very hard to resist (I'm a cheapskate) territory! I expect that my initial euphoria (you see how excited I get?) will be tempered by the shipping and the Fedex Tax Collectors which us Yerpeens have to put up with!

The other thing is, if I get that Strad, will I get around to using it with all my backlog?

If you haven't already done so may I suggest placing a notice of this at the VI forum 'Commercial announcements' http://www.vi- control.net/forum/vie...731cf147b83f7a and also the UK http://www.soundonsound.com/. I used to put a word around various forums so that others could benefit from these opportunities as they wouldn't stomach 'free' adverts but I see the SOS homepage NEWS mentioning the EWQL sale.....so maybe they're loosening up!

This is very nice, as I missed the first GPO group buy (hard to believe as there were 1300 people who didn't miss it...). On a budget now, I only have to look at WHAT I decide for, GPO or the famous Stradivari....I own Kontakt2 (no single strings in the library of that one, for example). So I could of course use GPO and Strad well....will think a day or two, and then join!

I expect Time & Space has to wait to see where the Group Buy price bottoms out before announcing its offer. It could be a close run thing then, as T&S close down over Christmas.

Omigosh, I haven't been here since May! Been pretty busy working on stuff. But Gary's offer brought me out of hiding as it were!

On the order page at the site I see shipping options of US Postal Service and some Fedex options, but no Fedex options for U.S. residents. The instructions mention using Fedex if you would like tracking and that is what I am thinking of doing as it would be a big letdown to have these items disappear into the void. But I don't see a Fedex option for U.S. residents in the dropdown.

Am I just not seeing it? Or... are all the rest of you confident in USPS and not worried about it? Should I just go for that?

I saw the Strad at NAMM last year and was blown away!
