Garritan Holiday Group Buy Special - STRAD/JABB/GPO

At present, GPO and JABB come with Native Instruments Kontakt Player 1 (or is it 1.5?).

Stradivari 2.0 comes with Native Instruments Kontakt Player 2, but it is not yet Mac Intel native.

Native Instruments and Garritan are, as we speak, preparing updates that will let you use the GPO, JABB and Stradivari with Kontakt Player 2.x in the fully Mac-Intel native version, and these will be available (to registered users) as free downloads from the Web site.

Several users who post on this forum have used GPO, JABB and Stradivari in the full version of Kontakt 2.x for Windows and Mac. You can search for some of their posts.

I had to buy the Strad too. After seeing the demo I thought it was just too good a price to let this one slip by. Heck, I was prepared to buy it for $200 at my local music store but they didn't carry the Strad so I figured why not do the group buy.

Thanks Gary for holding this group buy, especially at this time of year. I must say that while I have bought many many many libs from various companies, I respect your affinity for your customers. I already own J&BB and love it. Can't wait to get my Strad. My fiance loves the violin and I'm composing a piece [for solo violin and cello duet] that she'll be walking down the aisle to next July. Perhaps by the the Gofriller Cello will be out by then?

Got my Strad before Christmas and it's a wonderful and very alive product. I am more of a keyboard player than violinist, so it's a great composing and performance tool for me. I'm in my 50s, and I was taking violin lessons and playing electric violin in bands until a pinched nerve in my neck forced me to cut way back on my playing. Oh well, I can do things with the Strad library that I couldn't even dream of doing with my real violins, so it's a much appreciated gift. I love the effect of the expression pedal (I prefer using a slider), and the legato effects are amazing.

Ha! I just did it - so to speak, that JABB is mine. Stumbled right across that group buy in the last minutes of 2006 (here in europe).

I decided I wanted some horns for a piece I am putting together. So, I just placed an order for the JABB group buy (I already bought and received Strad 2 in the group buy).

It seemed like I could still place the order for the group buy price, so hopefully it won't be a problem.
