    A Rock Hymn

This is A Rock Hymn. I haven't been to church much since HS so I'm not sure where this came from. Maybe wind storm trauma. Our county was declared a disaster area.

With some inspirational lyrics it might make a nice congregational hymn for churches that use this genre.

I used JABB for the percussion . I tried to use a JABB bass but was getting CPU melt down for some reason.

This was enjoyable to listen to and I can see some contemporary churches using this piece. Very nicely concieved melody. Thanks for sharing it with us today!

Nice job on this, Phil, and I could see this fitting in well with
a lot of Christian Rock venues common in many churches,
today. Like the kick-back percussion rhythms in this,
    especially.

Get a sweet bell tenor or a clear soprano riding on top of
this with some strong inspirational lyrics, and I think you'd
    have a homer.

I'm happy you enjoyed it. I think where the melody goes up at the beginning would make for a strong hook and once you have them hooked you're goin'.

    Thanks David.

I think you're right about the vocals. You need to sell the song in the market and then see where it goes.

I'll have to get serious about finding lyricists.
