Atmosphere - how to create this effect?

I have searched everywhere in the manual, and also on the forum but cannot find how to create the following sound:

A hit with a slow fall-off, dying away in sound and pitch. I'm not sure what this might technically be referred to, which doesn't help!! So - is this something I need a particular plug-in for, or is there a way to edit one of the many parameters within Atmosphere itself to acheive the effect?

    Any advice gratefully received

Have you tried the pitch envelope?
assign the pitch modulation slot to the pitchenvelope (P-env) and set depth and time to your liking and voila you will have a pitchfall.
adjust the amp envelope accordingly to create a decaying sound.
make sure you do that for both the A and B layer.

    best

Thanks Hans - using that help, I can now get the effect I want, but only in reverse (i.e. the glissando goes UP - I need it to go DOWN). Is there something I'm doing wrong?

im not in the studio but if im not mistaken you must click on the green light underneath the mod source so it turns orange to reverse the modulation direction
