    Talking OT-Weird and boring jobs?

Just for grins ... I was wondering who has the job of verifying how many sheets of paper are on a roll of tissue. I mean, you buy a roll of tissue that says two ply 500 sheets, have you ever unrolled one to verify the count? So, if you did and found only 499 sheets, would you take it back and complain?

Right now I think my job falls in the boring category.

I count them as I use them...

Well, I have not counted, but I remember that the U.S. Army, back in 1952, when I was supply sgt, had an allowance of 3 sheets a day per man, 6 sheets per woman. The authorizing document, I think, was TA 10-1. It was probably the most violated authorization, as nobody paid the slightest attention to it except for finding ways to cheat, which at that time, in Korea, was an art highly developed by supply sgts and highly appreciated by commanders!

I wonder if that's why the writers of Mash named the procurement officer Corporal Max Klinger
