    Renovated Turkey

    Well, a new version of Turkey Fantasy is now available. I replaced the last 5 bars with 30 new bars. The ending is now much more satisfactory. Thanks to Alan Hilton on Sibelius Forum for pointing out that the ending was a bit of a let-down. I did not like the previous ending, but until this afternoon could not devise a better one.

    The mp3 has also been replaced. (GPO Steinway, naturally).

    Hi Richard,

    For some reason I couldn't get the mp3 to run fully through
    to the end (probably something on my end; not to worry);
    but in reading the score, it does seem like a more sensible
    and satisfying conclusion, Richard.

    Thanks for posting this... the rewriting and rethinking of a
    piece (or a part of it) is something I always find interesting
    in the insights it gives into the composer's thoughts.

    I might suggest also linking above to the original version for
    comparison if that's possible.

    My best,

    Well, the mp3 is okay, but I will check out the upload shortly. The previous version was removed, but I will upload it elsewhere for comparison. There is also another piece derived from it, minus the turkey stuff, expanded, and altered, which I like better than the first two. It will be available soon, I hope.
