It Was A Very Good Year part one,and two

Composed by Ervin Drake in 1961
the backing is based on an arrangement by Gordon Jenkins my favourite arranger and the violin melody line is my interpretation.
This is the first and second part of my first tune to start life in Garritan Personal Orchestra
seventeen and twenty one are two of four parts

    Sorry Michael
I checked direct from my site and it was OK but you're right it wouldn't work here.

    Thanks

    Hey Ray,
The title to your piece, i think, "It was a very good year; part one" is very deceiving to me. The work has a very melancholy flavor and hints at the mistake of remembrance. Well, for me anyway ... I enjoyed the borrowed Major chord during the first melodic phrasing and the melodic lines all the way through are wonderfully written and rendered. Nice supportive back drop and use of non harmonics and the wind flutter. I believe you have great material here on which to expand.
Would like to hear more of this ... Thank you for sharing.

Fine arrangement of this, Ray; much enjoyed.
Good color work and some nice turns of
    counterphrase that keep it interesting.
