    "Styxx And Stones"

    Jazz Fiends...uhhh Fans,

Here's something to honor our mutual friend, Styxx.

This is "Styxx And Stones". I have some tweaking to do before it is actually finished.

    Regards to all,

Larry, while listening.... in Jazz soloists tend to start their solo a bit earlier or later, but never on the beat (there is a term for such thing, but I forgot).
The piece immediate starts off, no intro or a very short raise in volume level (as I always do with a wave editor). It is like you missed the first chord and start in the middle of the scond note/chord.

It is heavy!!! Needs tweaking as you already said. But I liked it.
Swinging, like Alexander Ragtime band, from the old days.

    Great stuff for development, though.

Larry, this is JABB and GPO?? Tweaking it may need - but to me this sounds like the real thing!! If I were Styxx, I'd be well chuffed! Excellent stuff my friend.

    Regards, Graham

PS I know who Styxx is, who's Stones?

"Chuffed" is not a familiar word to me.

    "Stones" is Styxx's great grandcousin.

    Thanks for the good words.

This sounds good Larry. The jabb trumpet has a good sound, doesn't it. (I assume it was JABB). What GPO instruments did you use? This sounds very swingy.

Thank you, Mr. Jay, for listening. This piece still requires more work. I will probably change instruments in subsequent reworkings.

Garsh, gee, this is swell Larry. Although I no longer have the means to listen, I am sure you did a "swell" Gee Wally job!
