which Intel chipset (on Gigabyte board) is best for audio purposes?

i am about to build a new DAW.

i decided to go for an Intel p4 2.4 Northwood cpu in combination with a Gigabyte mainboard.
please tell me which Gigabyte mainboard model u think is best for audio purposes: it should of course have Intel chipset and doesnt need any special features like eg. RAID etc..
as there are so many different Intel chipsets released i cant decide which model would be best.

please if not naming a certain Gigabyte model tell me which Intel chipset would fit my cpu choice best and which u think is in general best for audio usage so i can look up which Gigabyte model features this chipset.

    thx & respects to all,

i just recognized that the mainboard choice question is comin along with the question of which ram to choose (or visversa): which ram is better - ddr or rim rambus?

please include this ram question in ur suggestion for which mainboard to go for in combination with which ram (please mention brand and model name for ram as well).

    thx so much!
