    I'm A FOOL TO WANT YOU-TENOR SOLO

I like this tenor sound(2nd sound) . In this revised piece, the tenor
plays what I believe is a COOL JAZZ style.

    Gary,

Great jazz sound and cool sax you have there. You got it together really well. Thanks for sharing it with the forum.

That was an interesting rendition. It's not one of my favorite Sinatra tunes but I like your version.

    Thanks Phil,
Actually, I modeled this after an arrangement for Billie Holiday.
I have that on a 33 rpm record. I think it is called
    BILLIE SINGS THE BLUES.

The strings with the sax is a great combination for jazz. Nicely rendered and arranged. Thanks for posting.

An interesting orchestral approach to this
classic; though I think I might like to hear
a bit more interpretation on the part of
the sax, more life in it with vibrato and
and more natural use of dynamics.
Perhaps it is my familiarity with other
versions of this piece; but, though I like
the "concert" manner of playing in this,
it seems to ask for more warmth, to me.

    My best,
