    Kuru's Field

I had not written anything for organ for a long time, so it seemed time to do so. The reverb is set as I remember the reverb in Davies Hall, San Francisco. The best listen is the mp3, made using GPO Organ.

    Hi Richard,

This is great, a wonderful compostion and rendition.
You no doubt remember my comment on your last posting was "I didn't get it".
Well, I get this mainly because you said listen to the mp3 which I didn't do the last time. There is no comparison between the sound of the score media player and the mp3 produced using GPO organ.

    Fantastic piece,

    Ray

Well. I am glad you tried the mp3. It illustrates very well the value of GPO!

Thanks for listening and taking the time to comment.

I recall quite liking some of your prior organ
work, Richard, and I'm pleased to have you
    come back with more.

Quite a strong, powerful, impactful piece of
work on this, my friend. My gosh, it feels
    almost French in places!

Much enjoyed this, Richard; I sincerely hope
you will do more with pipe organ... it suits
you, and you've gotten some stunningly good
mileage out of it in this piece!

    Well done!

    My best,

Thanks for posting this Richard. Some good, strong writing here that kept this (potentially) difficult piece driving forward. Enjoyed this. The GPO full organ sounds very good indeed.

    Regards, Graham
