Here is my "Sketch In E Minor".
All instruments (piano, strings and horn section) are GPO.
Regards to all,
Lovely horn section at the beginning Larry - and you developed this into a catchy and cheerful tune which I enjoyed vey much. You had me whistling along here! This combination of instruments works well.
Thank you, Mr. Graham. It was very nice of you to listen and comment. I certainly appreciate it.
Toodle Pip, (That's Brit, I think.)
Delightful Mr. Larry!
I wonder if when you went to the major section in the middle if you slowed the tempo by about 25-30bpm if you could achieve a greater tranqullo aspect. Then back to a tempo when you recap the minor for greater impact.
Just a thought.
BTW, I am stunned by how fast you work.
Experience what is necessary to build upon self character, for that is Life's most significant learning event.
Very nice work, Larry.
A simple repeating lead melody line really anchors the entire piece.
...Has a kind of Bulgarian/Romanian feel to this arrangement.
I really enjoyed your Sketch in E Minor!

Like the brasswork in the opening on this, Larry.
An interesting sketch with a little more dramatic
flare than your usual.
'Preciate it, Mr. Dave. Thanks.Originally Posted by etLux
