    Crab Canon (For Fun)

This is a crab canon written by J.S. Bach (I think he may be turning over in his grave right now!) The 1st half is J.S. Bach's Crab Cano - played as a duet all the way thru and then at the end played backwards to the beginning. 18 measures forward and then 18 measures backwards (kind of fun to try and play reading music backwards.) Anyway, I kind of added a little of me at the repeat of the entire canon - felt like a bit of fun on a cloudy cold day!

I have always been a fan of Bachs work. I have listened to the goldberg variations and a variety of his canon works till I was blue in the face. This is a good rendition of a canon, although I don't know if I would want to be a trumpet player playing it. (not a whole lot of room to breath.) Nice job.

    William,

I'm with Jay on this 'cause I can't breath in and out at the same time.
Perhaps you'll do a real trumpet version to show us how it's done.

    keep it up

Breathe? You mean I'm supposed to breathe? Maybe that's why I keep fainting and falling off my stool!

Think the community is ready to hear this with me blowing my brains out? Think I'll skip the high notes!

Thanks Ray and Jay for the comments - Done out of pure fun (and boredom!)

Aw geez... rofl -- caught me completely by surprise.

I don't think JSB would mind, Bill;in fact, he'd probably
hoist another brew and join right in... lol!

    My best,

    David.

    Historical Note:

A goodly part of J. S. Bach's "salary" was often paid
    in large quantities of... beer.
