    GPO Steinway music...

Some of my piano compositions featuring the GPO Steinway:

    "Lark"

"Assignment" (written as a music theory class assignment circa 1953)

    "Answers"

    "Tapestries"

    "Tangents"

Nice, i especially liked "Answers". Felt a bit like a modern Bach, good flow to it.
The first one, "Lark", has a happy tune...uplifting. But in my view it gets a bit repetitive. Feels like it needs something (before that moodchange around 2.30). I don't know, the melody shifting hands together with some scalelike runs in the other... or big accords doubling the melody or something.
    I really like it otherwise.

    Great work!

    Thomas.

Nice stuff larry. My favorite was tangents. Your class assignment sounds challenging.

The class assignment was a long time ago. Dinosaurs still roamed the earth.

    Thanks for listening, Mr. Jay.

Hehe, seems i was a little hasty there. Accord (well, actually "ackord") is the swedish name for Chord. So just exchange Accord with chords and it'll make more sense.
    d'accord?

A number of these I believe I may have
heard before, so I took pot-luck on a few.

Larks is just delightful, Larry; one of your
    best, certainly.

And of course with a title like Tangents -- I
couldn't resist: and that scattered opening
    does its title justice.

You knew you'd get me with Assignment, a
look at vintage Alexander, eh? I was most
intrigued and surprised to see that your style
has changed virtually not at all across the
inervening years, my friend. Nice piece!

    Best,
